Therefore, its objectives are the development of activities of all kinds to achieve knowledge of the landscape and the set of actions (environmental, cultural, economic, socio-economic) that comply to this.

The Center focuses diverse interests and approaches to landscape (from purely cultural to the technical specifications). To be able to present them all, the Centre is organized into three major areas:

1. Development of dissemination activities on landscape issues.
2. Creation of technical work, in complience ​​to the current laws or concrete needs
3. Permanent investigation taking in account that the keys to the formation and transformation of the landscape invloves the natural aspects also as human interventions.
