“Sand-Glass” foundation involved in surveys and projects in the field of natural sciences, as well as identifying and guiding the relationship of society and individuals to nature and promoting the idea of sustainable development.
The main aims are to conserve and protect the natural environment, to encourage the sustainable natural resources management, and to create a sensible and an active society towards environmental problems. The foundation considers that the landscape is an important issue in the evolution of the society. That’s why special attention is paid to the use and dissemination of the landscape scale planning methods. The organization stimulates also the social engagement, the change of thoughts and actions of the society towards the ecological problems within urban and rural areas.
